What is wood chips?
In the wood processing industry, people cut large logs into beautiful wooden products with commercial value. Small pieces of wood less than 3 cm in size are called wood chips, so it can be seen that they are known as a by-product produced during the processing of furniture.
However, to be able to create a large amount of wood chips for export as today, the proactive production of wood chips has also been more popularly applied. From the trunks, branches or chips, pallets, peeling boards, veneer boards, leftover wood in the wood production process, people have used large-capacity wood chippers, which can be created in a split second.
What is wood chips used for?
Wood chips are input materials in the production of pulp, compressed wood, making incense, particle boards,….
Currently, the main export markets of Vietnam are countries such as Korea, Japan, China and some European countries. One thing in these countries is that winters are very cold. With its flammable properties, high heat generation, and cheap cost, wood chips are the products chosen by countries around the world to replace other types of burning materials.
In addition, a large amount of wood chips originating from natural and middle forests are used as raw materials for production from pulp or other industrial boards such as particle boards, MDF boards, etc.
